Ideal for most carnivorous plants that prefer moist bog conditions such as venus flytraps (Dionaea) and trumpet pitcher plants (Sarracenia). Carnivorous plants have adapted to nutrient-poor substrate conditions by absorbing nutrients from prey insects. Due to this, their roots are very sensitive to nutrients and fertilizers in their substrate. Our soil mix is fertilizer-free and is guaranteed to be safe for your sensitive carnivorous plants!
